One of the founding members of the Russian Orthodox Parish of the Annunciation in Oxford,
Elisabeth Obolensky
(née Lopoukhine, born 13 January 1916),
died peacefully on 29 August 2006.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday 5 September
at 10 a.m., at the Church of the Holy Trinity and the Annunciation, 1 Canterbury Road, Oxford, and will be preceded by a celebration of the Divine Liturgy at 9 a.m..

Panihkidas will be held in the church at the following times: Saturday 2 September, 5 p.m.; Sunday 3 September after the Liturgy; Sunday 4 p.m. (with reception into the church); Monday 4 September, 5 p.m. (not 6 p.m as previously advertised)
